Laboratory

Mushrooms Lab

Edible mushrooms grown in substrate — not in soil: colonization of the substrate by the mycelium, relative humidity and ventilation (CO2), induction of fruiting ("pinning") and successive harvests by wave (flush), with contamination control as the central axis. Science of substrate, not soil.

Objectives we work on

Substrate colonization

Relative humidity and ventilation (CO2)

Fruiting induction (pinning)

Yield per flush

Pollution control

Fruiting body quality (firmness and color)

How Yolia does it inside

Unlike the other Laboratories, Fungos is not nourished with NPK soil fertilizer: its formula engine does not yet exist. That's why this Lab remains informational only for now — we prefer to build it well, with a real substrate model, rather than forcing the plant engine onto a crop that is not a plant.
